Question: Why do you list a size range instead of the exact size of the hide?

➡️ Answer: Every hide is different, so sizes vary. We give you a size range, like 22 to 26 sq.ft., and you can enter your preferred square footage within that range. This lets you choose a smaller or larger hide based on your needs, and you only pay for the amount you order.

Question: Why can’t I pay for my order online at checkout?

➡️ Answer: We’ve always focused on giving personal service, which is why we’re careful with online orders. Since it’s hard to choose leather without seeing it, we call you after you order to confirm your choice, answer questions, and take payment by Visa, Mastercard, or E-Transfer. That way, you still get the same care we’re known for.

Question: Can I still call in my order instead of using the add-to-cart function?

➡️ Answer: Yes, you can still call in your order to your local branch just like before! The “add to cart” option is just for those who prefer to shop online. We’re happy to help!

Question: Since the price is per square foot, can I order smaller amounts like 1 sqft?

➡️ Answer: We show the price per square foot so it’s easy to compare, but our leather is sold by the hide.

Question: Why don’t you calculate shipping in the cart, and when will I know the cost?

➡️ Answer: Shipping isn’t calculated at checkout because every leather order is a different size. Once we pack your order, we’ll figure out the best shipping rate based on weight, size, and destination. We’ll let you know the cost when we send your final quote. We usually ship with Canada Post Expedited, but you’re welcome to use your own courier if you prefer.

Question: Can I purchase smaller cuts, or do I need to buy the full hide?

➡️ Answer: No, we don’t cut hides. All our leather is sold as full pieces, so you get the whole hide to work with. Our pricing reflects that and offers great value for the full amount you receive.
