Chap Suede Cowhide is pliable, durable, and versatile, making it ideal for heavier-use projects like chaps, tool pouches, work gloves, soling, and lining. It's strong yet flexible, built to hold up over time. This leather has a suede finish on both sides, with no smooth grain side.
Suede is made by removing the smooth top layer of the hide, commonly known as the full grain side, during tanning. That full grain layer is used for things like upholstery or garments. What’s left is the soft underside, known as suede.
