Natural, unbleached Elk Rawhide Remnants are a great choice for rattles and small traditional crafts. These pieces are cut from full elk rawhides and retain their natural strength, durability, and character. Each piece is unique and will vary in shape, thickness, and size.
Rawhide is untreated and hasn’t gone through tanning. Instead, it’s cleaned, de-haired, stretched, and dried, making it natural, stiff, and tough. It is then meant to be soaked and stretched over drum frames or other structures.
Remnants vary naturally in size, shape, and square footage. The listed price is intended as a general reference only. If you have a preferred size, please leave a note with your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on available stock.
** All rawhides are subject to natural holes and knife marks. **
Please Note: This product is not recommended for pet chews.
